Guest
That's what I asked for.. "customers view from the sofa?" I noticed in one picture what Dave made for a wiring example that there wasn't EOL's at all in the door contact. Tamper switch didn't even exist. Though I don't use tamper switch either with the door contact. Useless because you can bypass it easily with a magnet anyway. When i do circuit diagrams for electrical wiring i always neglect the CPC (earth) for clarity. Alarms in the UK are undertaken to BS 7671 and it is therefore common practice to conceal wiring within the fabric of a building. This will protect cables from mechanical damage. Jef Customers! Jef 26805[/snapback] Jef is correct, all electrical wiring needs to be in accordance with BS7671 Intruder systems in the UK are installed in accordance with BS4737 (and EN50131) which also states mechanical protection should be used. I take it from your posts that you mainly surface clip or staple? Do you not find this looks unsightly? I let them do cabling if they want to save in price and I do the rest. That's how everybody is happy and customer get professional system.
