JohnCo
Hi folks, Sorry if this has been covered before, I have looked but I couldn't see exactly my situation .. please point me to the correct place if you know it. OK.. here's my problem. I have got hold of an alarm system and bell box which will be installed in my garage with just 2 or 3 PIR's. I just need to clear up the connections between the two units as they seem to use different terminology so to an amateur it gets confusing what's actually going to work. The connections on the Bell box are as follows Tamp out Tamp In Micro /S Supply - Supply + Trigger Strobe + Strobe - And on the 9448+ I have Clk Data O/P L/S + TR 0v 12v BELL STR I have tried to follow the 9448 install diagrams but it uses different terminology and i'm clearly not getting it right. SO what would I connect each of the Bell connections to on the 9448+ unit. Help please !!
datadiffusion
Tamp out - TR Tamp In - connect locally to Supply - (0V) Micro /S - god knows Supply - - 0V Supply +- 12V Trigger - BELL Strobe + - ASSUME connect locally to Supply + (12V) Strobe - - STR Please note I don't know the Flashguard at all, but the terminology seems pretty normal, except for the Micro /S? datadiffusion
Hold up, DO NOT do this >>> Strobe + - ASSUME connect locally to Supply + (12V) Connect NOTHING to Strobe + It doesn't need anything. Also is there more than one Micro S terminal??
