Guest demuss Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I've just installed a Texecom Premier 24 and one of the tests I did was to set all the zones to Soak Test except for 1 PIR. The PIR is set to Guard. I then set the alarm and opened/closed the front door and the alarm armed. When I went into the room with the active PIR the internal sounders came on and then after about 15-20 seconds the external sounder came on. Is this correct? I was expecting the external sounder to activate immediately. I can't find any setting to change the delay, can someone point me in the right direction, or is this normal? Thanks Anthony
breff Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 1. Make sure the zone is programmed to guard. 2. Make sure you are full setting the panel. If both of the above are true then check the bell delay timer in 6.2 arming programming. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
