Hi, welcome to TSI.

The best way to get urgent help is to call a local professional - whereabouts in the UK are you?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

You may have faults on zones 2 to 7 so that would be the best place to look for a problem.

All depends where they took the power from?

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

We can't give that info out

But it seems when you disconnected your sensors you havnt connected them back correctly

As said "above" you have problems with zones 2-7 possibly

If you didn't mess with wiring in control panel that should be ok

But zone 1 is a door contact yes? So won't help you to wire the pirs

Each pir will have a negative and positive sometimes it's red and black sometimes it isn't , but if your saying in the panel all of them are connected to +'ve then you need to check what you did in your pits again

Why don't you load some pictures of each pir here ?
