Gabs Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 As a few of you know I'm in the process of upgrading our home alarm system and I think I'll start with the bell box. Is the ADE Reson8 a good replacement for a 21 year old Risco Novagard 4 alarm. I know that the bell box electronics aren't protected very well so I would make some sort of cover for the circuit board to protect it from the weather. But overall is it a good bell box or should I go with Ventcroft? (I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible) Quote
Shanemaldwyn Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 I always a risco lumin8 and tbh i never have any trouble Quote
Rulland Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Imho all ewd's are designed by the manufacturers to survive a certain amount of external influencies. Quote

charlie6 Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I tend to go along with whatever Admin says, puts me in my place. But 'Honeywell' covers a few manufacturers doesn't it ?? Help me out here with some examples of actual sounders, also which cqr sounder in particular ? Quote
