Rubble1952 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 On a grade 3 system, is there anything in regs about if a roller shutter is about 3.5m wide it requires contact's on either side. Some jobs it has been asked for others say not. I know that if you put more than one contact on it would have to be on same zone. Quote

charlie6 Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Don't know anything about regs, but common sense would tell me, in this case. that two contacts are better than one. That said, I think we have discussed this issue in another thread.. I may have responded differently in that one for some reason. Quote
charlie6 Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 ".......I know that if you put more than one contact on it would have to be on same zone...." Just wire them in series... if that's OK by the regs ? Quote
al-yeti Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Dont regulations either Just qualification s *need Quote
charlie6 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 So you don't mind me referring to Regulations as regs then ? Quote

charlie6 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Admin, now I'm seeing Quals AND Regs...So the qualification has to pass the regulation, is that correct ? Quote
