Philg1965 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Hi When I changed the batteries the alarm activated for each shock sensor I just put in my code and it was fine ? I better check the tamper switch under the RFX cover ? I removed the RFX cover and silenced the alarm. Then put it into learn mode and scrolled through but no number 11 was displayed. The numbers were in the twenties ? I was pushing the button under the Display and believe the delete button is under neath this one. Any ideas gratefully received Thanks for your help Phil Quote

You may have deleted any number of your wireless devices from the RFX. You could have just omitted Zone 11 from the keypad and still had a working system, I believe you will now need an engineer. Philg1965 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Hi Thanks for the reply I tried to omit zone 11 but it came up with a cross after the 11 on the keypad which meant that it could not be omitted ? Will have another go later when I am home. for the post Phil Quote

IIRC to omit you enter your code followed by X this will then ask you if you want to Omit a Zone number. Quote
Philg1965 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Hi I thought it funny that the RFX didn't give a zone11 so think you are right it had been programmed wrong. Will try that to omit the zone if I can lose the tamper alert Thanks for your help Phil Quote
Philg1965 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Hi Can't lose the tamper now... When I did the batteries last year was ok... Is it engineer visit now then ? Quote
9651 Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 You're in expander 2 Expander 1 is addressed zones 9-16 Expander 2 is addressed zones 17-25 Time for an engineer fella, no point just stabbing in the dark Quote
