datadiffusion Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I would imagine you can set the associated user account to Arm Only? Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
dwdave Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Good idea. The cleaner account can arm only. Quote 'till the next question ...

dwdave Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 Thats good, I will have a set of prox tags that are Level 1 user then. I dont like the idea of someone who's pinched her handbag being able to walk in and disable the alarm! Prox tag to arm the system and code to enter. Quote 'till the next question ...
norman Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Plus when they answer the phone from her bag when it goes off they'll be able to cancel any alarms... Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
dwdave Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 ??? The system I am setting up is one way from the Pi. The GX app ( I believe ) requires a log on - once the phone is unlocked too. Quote 'till the next question ...
james.wilson Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 the comment was due to proper signalling vs a the cage on ur unit. You cant compare proper signalling to thinking dual path unmoninitored is similar Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
charlie6 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I am probably in the minority but is it too much to ask someone to take two or three steps from their front door and punch in four numbers on a keypad..in that way you can avoid losing your proximity tags and take some exercise into the bargain. The only time they are of any use is for disabled people. Quote
james.wilson Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 the police disagree. how many false alarms are caused by miskey or forget to justify do you want the police to blue light red lights and potentionally hit someone and how that may end, just cos of a miss key on the keypad?
