Fastbluecar Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 I downloaded data sheets on the two IC's. Looks as if they arn't compatible. Certainly the pinouts are different. New panel here we come. Thanks to everyone for their help and advice. Quote
al-yeti Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 So if it's new panel and you have the chip why not try it anyway?, as you said "looks as if " Quote
norman Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 iirc it's the same as a digi chip? Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
datadiffusion Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Yup which is what I quoted. Hey ho. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
MrHappy Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 New panel here we come. its only 3 month, why rush... Quote Mr Veritas God
james.wilson Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 its only 3 month, why rush... Security and protecting you, yours ands stuff.... nah I'm gonna buy I new iPhone instead Ps the memory chip on my phone is knackered, what do I need to replace it. My Nokia 3310 has been working fine until this simple chip failure. I'm not gonna replace the phone for this simple failure. I know I can buy a smartphone for 50 quid but seems such a rip off when its just a chip. While I'm on my TV broke yesterday got a great deal on a new Sony one. Just 800 quid. james.wilson Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 No I'm not angry, I'm soldering a new chip into my boiler, its on the safety side of the valve. I'm not replacing the whole board its just the one bit. Sick of people ripping me off saying I need a whole daughterboard when it just needs one component Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
