Intermittent Tamper Fault on Veritas R8

I have an R8 system installed in my house. In the last 24 hours I've had two false triggers due to the tamper circuit. One happened at 1:30 a.m. when the system was part set. The other happened this evening when the system was unset. (Don't know whether that's significant or not?)

When I enter the programming mode, the event log and the extended display tell me ( according to the installation manual) that the fault was caused by "RKP Off-line". Apart from obviously referring to the Keypad, what does Off-line mean?

Any ideas as to how I can narrow down the source of the problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need my beauty sleep, believe me.

Looks like you need to check the connections into the RKP. Take the RKP off its mounting and check that the 4 wires are securely attached into the correct terminals, and are not loose, broken or shorting. When you remove the RKP, you will cause a tamper fault, just enter your code to stop it and press RESET when the panel is re-mounted.

Make sure you get the RKP mounted properly afterwards, or you won't be able to reset the tamper.
