bennynoneck Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I know that for the cost of these things it's probably not worth asking but.... I assume the double as opposed to the quad piezo sound bomb is still loud enough? Is there much difference to them? Also, do I just wire these up to the external sounder terminals? Ta! Terminals on the main panel that is!! Quote

bennynoneck Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) The control panel. No but have a kid. It's going to be under the stairs along with the control panel. Or at least it was! I'm just more or less emulating next doors set up which was done recently by a respected local company. Are they not necessary? Edited September 5, 2015 by bennynoneck Quote
norman Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 On a monitored system not in my opinion, horses for courses but definitely not where you'd leave any pets at home. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
bennynoneck Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 ok thanks. Perhaps I'll see how loud the main siren is first! Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Wouldn't ever use a Sound Bomb. Extension speaker. Oh and when asked what panel, we mean manufacturer and model... Quote
bennynoneck Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Texecom premier elite 48w, sorry! I assume it has an internal speaker for bleeps etc. I haven't got it yet! Quote
al-yeti Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 that's why I asked, to work out if you were going to connect a speaker to correct terminals or the sound bomb You can do allot of damage Quote
