Vince8282 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Yeah! batteries are a "specialist" subject on their own and of course good old ohm's law ends with "provided the temperature remains constant" (which it doesn't). The other situation comes into being too when you have a detector covering a high traffic area and comparing the life of it to the life of one stuffed (technical term) in a store room that is hardly ever entered. james.wilson Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 it is but seems seals are the issue on lithiums on the shelf but not used Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

secureiam Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 need some temperature curves and discharges for each battery to help may be? Quote
Vince8282 Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Not much point really as the weather men can't accurately predict the temperatures so we have no chance to do so. secureiam Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 temperatures externally are more random than internally, but batteries that do well regardless of the changes in temperature are better than those that vary significantly its all relative? Quote
james.wilson Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 tis but the temp is less relevant to life than it is with sla. High temp does affect primary cells but not as much as sla Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
WDT Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Pretty much the only way, I notice the once-available ACT Lithium Tester is long discontinued... They might have brought out a new one http://www.actmeters.co.uk/battery-testing/336l-3v-and-36v-lithium-battery-tester Quote
