housty Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Hi all I installed a speech dialler in a house a couple of days ago and everything was ok exept when the customer phones his home number or anyone else does the phone rings constant when you are calling you hear the ringing in the phone but his home number rings constant. Security Technician Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 check the wiring to the phone points, when you have connected the dialler up you may have crossed the wiring or got a short, if you need the connections or colour code info for the phone socket or dialler let me know
Guest jsd Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Start with the first socket, check and add the extensions until you found which is at fault. Never be afraid to check your own work, mistakes are so easy to make. Had a similar problem in my house, just a bad connection at a socket.
