hi guys can anyone please help my daughter as an i-on16 wireless alarm  i have bought her a remote control so she can set it easy for her  can anyone please tell me how to program it to her system thanks

never installed one but it sounds like something that should be in the user guide.

you need the master used code, and then navigate to the users menu.

then add user. follow on screen instructions.

when it says enter code press tick.

when it says present tag press tick.

when it says press button on remote press button on remote.

if it's a fob-2w-4b you can then program certain buttons to do different tasks.

Bear in mind early versions wont support the 2 way fob, and the ion 16 'uniquely' cannot be upgraded in the field.

Op, do you have a black car alarm looking fob or a lozenge shaped grey one?

The grey one works with all versions.
