Southernnewbie
Hi all I have an abacus 6p led display in my unit. It's around 20 years old and never had a problem. Following a massive power cut it is coming up with error zone 6b. The issue is I don't have a 6b. I have a zone 6 (360 dtec) but not a 6b. The system is regularly maintained and has never had an issue. Any ideas what 6b is?
whistle
Normally means you have a short on a cable or at the detector unless you are using splitters.

PeterJames
If you have access to the engineers area I would check that 6b is not on, abs have a habit of forgetting stuff especially as they get older
al-yeti
You must have changed a setting , turned on zone splitting in error?
Southernnewbie
Definately no splitter. Crashed and reprogrammed panel. I will check for a short.
al-yeti
If you crashed it then you may have to check your programming Maybe you selected zone split by mistake
Nova-Security
You will need to programme the outputs up first, Abacus have a strange thing when effected by power or crashed that the outputs all become 00 and this shows all sorts of strange faults including 6B split Quote www.nova-security.co.uk www.nsiapproved.co.uk No PMs please unless i know you or you are using this board with your proper name.
