Deltaseven Posted October 17, 2004 Posted October 17, 2004 I was door-stepped recently whilst at a customer's house, by an insurance salesman who saw my van-with-ladders-on, and decided I was a likely buyer for Accident insurance. When I managed to get a word in edgeways (you know how these people are), I asked for some literature and refused to sign the form (about 7 times). The policy sounded good (they always do), and covers you at home, work, sports etc for any accident (whether it is your fault or not), and they pay out for time off work etc (not just hospitalization). Unfortunately, I have lost the paperwork I was gven, and can't find the company concerned on the Internet... Does anyone here have this sort of cover? I know you should be covered by your employer's insurance, but if you were not using ladder stops for example... Who have you taken the insurance through? Any advice??? D7
