jesta
Hi All, Hoping you can assist me with an installation for my newly purchased alarm system. I bought the Pyronix Enforcer PSTN kit which comes with the Digi-PSTN modem. Having read the installation guide I am still a little unsure how I should be connecting the modem to the telephone socket. Before purchasing I assumed it would just require plugging a RJ11 from the Enforcer unit to a microfilter connected to the telephone socket. From the installation guide it seems I will need to wire them into the modem. As I am a novice with alarms and wiring could someone shed some light on how I should be wiring this up to my telephone line/socket? Thank you in advance. jesta
a and b should connect to 2 and 5 in the master socket plate Thanks for the reply, on the modem there is an earth terminal which the manual says needs to be connected, a standard telephone cable does not have a earth terminal so in this case how would that work?
