Intruder Alarm, CCTV & Access Control Project Engineer

Visual Electronics Services Ltd (V.E.S) although a relatively small organization within the industry has built up a reputation for excellent customer care and satisfaction. We deal with large blue chip and government organizations throughout the UK and Ireland. We currently specialize in integrated security solutions, consisting of IP based CCTV, Access Control, IP/Networked Intercom System, Intruder Alarms and Barrier/Automated Door Systems.

 

A vacancy has arisen for a projects engineer to work with our small team of service/maintenance engineers and senior staff, this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, project engineer looking to further enhance their career experience and progress to a project manager. Full training will be given to attain a recognized projects management certification.

 

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven technical skills in IP CCTV, Access Control, Intruders Alarm Systems, Intercoms and IT networks.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to undertake regular customer meetings.
• Fluency in oral/written English.
• Excellent knowledge of computer applications.
• Flexible working attitude & willingness to travel.
• Full Clean Driving License required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Support to internal staff and customers.
• Organisation of parts & materials & ensure planned labour resource.
• Internal office administration.
• The supervision of all on-site staff.
• Responsibility for on-site Quality Control compliance.
• Responsibility for on-site Health and Safety compliance.
• RAMS & Engineer Handovers.
• To ensure Jobs are completed within schedule, to standards/customer satisfaction and within budgets.
• Job and engineer audits, re-evaluations, presenting statistics for the NACCOS management.

I am Self Employed, have one full time engineer working for me and pretty much a full time subby..

Have been in the Fire and Security Trade for 19 years

I also have a great knowledge of Surveying small to large projects, and have been an engineer myself for 19 years

I am also SSAIB approved
