We've only recently started fitting Texecom equipment. I've got the opportunity to set up a basic system and have a play in my own time. I'd like to put together a list of things I should know how to set up, including getting it to signal to the app and other signalling configurations.

If you were training up an engineer what would you say were must know things?

Due to living on a fairly isolated island, very few courses are free. Flights to and from this little rock I call home are expensive.

Ah right, Guernsey eh?

Have you had a chat with Texe though, they might be happy to send you the course notes at least, well maybe anyway!

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

I would contact Texecom and see what they can offer first, you may be pleasantly surprised.

My understanding Texecom will do free training at your premises if there is enough engineers to warrant it.

Alarm basics are the same, so its down programing, ricochet mesh (commissioning mode) and app programing(IT stuff), how to add certain 3rd party devices and use udl possibly.

Scenarios of what you use and do now may help them tailor something more to your needs.
