He11sBells Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 We got a Texecom Premier Elite system installed last year by private arrangement with the company. The installer left the job half-done and went AWOL on us. Since then we have had many issues including random errors and recently the alarm going off constantly when someone was house sitting for us. I am at the end of my tether and regret ever getting this! Can anyone help? We are looking for someone to complete the installation (only the bell box is missing), possibly move a couple of components and look into these ongoing issues. Thank you. Quote
al-yeti Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I am not far if you ever want to rip it out and go for something different and let me know Quote
He11sBells Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 Thanks for the offer. I know (or at least have been told!) it is a good system so would like to try to sort out the issues. It is just exasperating... Quote

sixwheeledbeast Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 "Texecom Premier Elite" doesn't give a lot to go on, there are may different models. Is it wired, wireless or hybrid? Why was the system left half finished? Have you tried getting quotes from local installers that support Texecom? Quote
He11sBells Posted March 30, 2016 Author Posted March 30, 2016 It is wireless. Not sure about the exact model. It was left half-finished because the guy was supposed to come back to finish it and he went AWOL and stopped answering calls and emails. I was unwell at the time and didn't chase it up but now I really want to get it sorted. Not sure about local installers - I'm happy to pay to resolve the issues but want someone who knows the system really well and won't charge hefty ongoing fees. I suppose I don't really know where to start with it. Quote
