Gabs Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where I could get an old bell box foam detector, like a Viper V-Foam detector. Or if anyone had any information about these foam detectors, I know that they used some sort of optical beam which would be broken if foam was put into the bell box, but that's about it Thanks Quote
BUSTER Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 CQR also did one that worked on a pendulum effect, binned the ones we had left a few years ago Quote Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company
datadiffusion Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Yep remember those, like a torbeck WC cistern float? Didn't certain high end Risko bells come with similar as an option? Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Gabs Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Thanks, io have an SAB Module made by 'Setcom', it has foam detection and tamper capabilities, just a small piece of circuit board Quote
norman Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Sure the t is meant to be there? Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Gabs Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Yes, it is, I know about Secom alarms, but it is, would you like a picture posting? It is interesting how it integrates foam detection on an SAB board Quote
Gabs Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Here are some pictures of the board, Setcom made it Quote
