Well if  was looking for a professional way of stopping people using my gym without paying I dont think Ebay would be my first port of call. No disrespect to Ebay I have purchased loads of stuff and sold a fair few bits (I dont anymore its full of messers ), but the stuff I buy I expect to be used, a second, or not made that well in the first place, its that sort of place, the sort of place you look for bargains and sometimes your lucky if you know what your buying

erm, you do know you can filter new items? These are no different to buying elsewhere online.

 

Prior to Amazon (prime) I've bought lots of branded things on e-bay without issue, even now I still use it regularly.
