dogtag Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Hi All hope someone can point me in the right direction. just inherited a site with new owner that has one of the above dvr fitted. H264 which seems to be a generic name no model number or anything that helps to identify it. i will try & put a screenshot on off the control part of the screen. We have password access ok at admin level to the dvr and can access all features but cannot acces it via the local network. log in via pc on the network and we see the log in screen, input Admin and password ok but it just regects them and puts the login screen back up. There is no warning to download a small cab file or anything. thanks all any information would be good. Quote

Nick Sue Fryer Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Hi All just a bit more info about this DVR. I have seen a screen shot of an Xvision dvr that is very similar. We now have access via the local network. This is now the issue. In networking there is a box that requires a ' KEY ' entering this is something to do with P2P setup for remote access. with nothing in the box, press enable and p2p fail comes up. Any idea what this key may be and where we may get it. Thanks all. Quote
james.wilson Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 is it set to dhcp? Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Nick Sue Fryer Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 no its set to static ip . we are able to view ok over the network. it must be set to static because the external ip is dynamic. Quote
