Valks2 Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Hi I have a Guardtec lcd panel. I need to change the battery test time from 1 hr to 24 hrs. I have the engineers code but i cannot find the option. Can anyone advise please. Quote
Valks2 Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 Is there anyone who can help? As the iinternal battery has died and every hour it is checking it. So internal sounder goes off. Quote
MrHappy Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 put it in engineering & leave it until the battery is replaced ? or power it down? or keep hitting it with a hammer until it goes quite ? (pete sutcliffe ?) Quote Mr Veritas God
Valks2 Posted July 3, 2016 Author Posted July 3, 2016 Yes I have replaced the battery. But I want to change the setting so when it goes again in a few years it does not keep triggering the sounder. Quote

Sorry, none of us install Gardtec panels so we dont know how to change it. But to be helpful if you replace the battery every four years you wont need to change the timer, assuming that you buy a branded battery from a reputable dealer that rotates his stock regularly and not one thats been sitting on a shelf for three and a half years Quote
