Miele I believe have a true vertical factory and only make their own stuff. norman Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Just replaced a Zanussi washer a couple of weeks ago, lasted 8 years.  Best thing I can think of for longevity is our Oreck vac's had them over 20 years before I replaced one of them.  1 hour ago, james.wilson said: what are the jumpers doing on the back " On the back of one sensor are 2 pins with a jumper on them, from reading the manual removing the jumper makes the sensors less sensitive (not what I want). My missuses Samsung is a couple of years old now so it will be another couple of years at least till we get a nice new flash one like yours. James's Miele will last another twenty years before he will need to upgrade to the latest tech machine Quote
