Guest Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I removed the front panel of my ade Gen 4 home alarm without the engineer code to adjust the exit tone volume now the tamper light continues to flash I have tried putting my password and pressing reset but it's not working, I don't have the engineer code! Any ideas how I can rectifiy this problem without resetting the whole system.

Guest Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 (edited) The lid has been screwed back securely and the tamper is still flashing. I thought it would be easy enough to do take place panel off adjust sound out put panel back on input my code and reset, I see this not the case. Edited July 15, 2016 by Sweety25

J&D Security Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Either that or it's setup for engineer reset after tamper janddsecurity@live.co.uk
Guest Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 I think your right it's set up for the engineer to reset after tamper! I can't see no another reason why it would not go back to normal settings. Will give them a call tomorrow.
al-yeti Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Try default engineer code , although no codes given out here
