Keypad said battery fault I didn't know if keypad had separate internal battery so removed cover, no battery so replaced.

Got new battery for mains panel,battery fault now gone, but now saying key pad needs reset any ideas anybody

Very fiddly tamper switches on the original 9800 and all 9600 keypads, be prepared to 'pad out' the tamper switch plastic tongue on the 'wall' side...

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

I though you where meant to put a plug & screw under the plastic tamper tab & adjust the height of the screw head to suit ?

When I was younger  & slimer  I got bored of tossing about with call back & bits of card & start with a screw for the tamper tab,

 

sadly nobody done a rkp as slim & stylish as 9825 /9625 since scanny late 80's effort
