I still wouldn't myself, though.

We have an airing cupboard with a cylinder. when the new cylinder went in as you described and the cupboard became the coolest room in the house. We had to install a tiny rad to compensate.

After they have complained about the fan noise at night they will complain about the cobwebs. You're on a hiding to nothing mate with residential cctv.

Worked out ok buddy, we managed to come to a compromise went on a set off draws in one of the bedrooms.

You went for putting the equipment in a set of draws over the airing cupboard? I would have went with the airing cupboard all day long. We have put a few systems in them and so far not had any issues. 

 

Putting them in lofts we have hd complaints about fan noise if above a bedroom but none from airing cupboards as of yet.

Airing cupboards and lofts!? These are some of the worse places for kit like this.

Bedroom sounded sensible to me if the system is quiet.

Agreed mate. Never had any issues or call backs and they was the sort to let us no so happy days! And was on the draws not in them not sure if that's what you meant.
