Guest danielsfrance
Can anyone help, i've cut the cable in half between main box and remote keypad, i've reconnected the cables, i've changed the fuses with the appropriate rating in the box, but i am still getting tamper alert on the keypad. I've tried to get into engineer mode, by using 1234 prog but this doesn't seem to work and i can't find the installation manual or user guide. please help. norman
Hi Daniel, User code then press the reset key should work if the joint is correct. You shouldn't normally need the engineer code for a tamper Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
Guest
Oh dear, not the way to do it! Check the connections on your joints that you made, check the springs on the panel and RKP. If you haven't got a multimeter it's going to be guesswork, with one it's simple. Or, call an engineer.
Guest danielsfrance
, the spring on the rkp wasn't functioning working, but the system is fine now, thanks for your help. If anyone has the installation manual, could they possibly forward it to me, many thanks.
