Although there is nothing wrong with your meter

Well then why it's not showing anything when measuring simple 2k2 resistor? Anyway I'll test on other multimeter on Monday will see but I think it's faulty.

what setting were you using to read the 2k2 resistor?

0 for resistance on manual range meters is likely to be Out of range. 1 will be open circuit, Infinite resistance.

unless your testing resistors then 200 ohms is the setting it should be in
