lymebayalarms Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Default through engineer menu and start fresh. 1
1animal1 Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 Thanks Lyme, the double delete worked thankfully. Pirs, door contacts and wireless rear siren learnt. Guess I hold off on the fobs until the end? I'm just rattling through the settings for each zone now before I fit
1animal1 Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 Question, for entry exit pir and door contact. I'm setting Contact as entry 1 and the pir as Guard access. For attribute 1 I presume Access for both... But then Guard suggests you'd use that for Entry exit 1/2.... Confused.
sixwheeledbeast Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Shouldn't need to play with other attributes, just the zone types above with the default attributes 1
1animal1 Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) swb...That's music to my ears! I've programmed the names in, just trying to work out how to assign singular zones to two separate part arms. Eg the downstairs pirs in the living room and kitchen need omitting for part arm 1 + 2.... Where as attribute 2 only allows kyou to select one or the other... Hoping this is much easier on wintex once my lead turns up Edited November 7, 2016 by 1animal1
al-yeti Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I think you can re write the manual soon in English , you making notes?
1animal1 Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 Damn right would you not agree it's pretty badly written? Or is it because I'm not down with the lingo
al-yeti Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 most manuals are weird, but here in this forum you have "real alarm men" / gorillas so no need for manuals just get them to decypher 1
sixwheeledbeast Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Use the part set suite Part button in top level engineers. With the Premier there's several ways to do the same thing, that's why to a newbie the manual is all over the place. 1
1animal1 Posted November 7, 2016 Author Posted November 7, 2016 (edited) Must admit it does seem that way but you are constantly questioning if it is the same thing or something completely different. I'll give that a go, thanks swb.... If it gets too difficult I'll just wait for the Wintex cable Edited November 7, 2016 by 1animal1
