Great news! But just check the battery is charging by removing the mains from the system in a week or so, if the system goes dead  again the charging circuit is fooked. If the system remains working then its likely you were lucky. 

 

Its better you do this during the day, rather than you find out in the middle of the night if you have a spike in the mains or powercut, your neighbors will be more appreciative
