Juandaman Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 HI, I wonder if anybody knows how to configure a Galaxy Flex Panel so I can operate the Outputs via the GX App ? I wonder if I can interface with central heating.. Thanks, Juan Quote
SouthernBrad Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Hi Juan, I've found the outputs function on the app to be useless. Honeywell did update the app a little while ago which i was hoping would clear the "Panel Firmware upgrade required" message. I get this message even though my firmware is well within what they require as a minimum. Although the Virtual Keypad works no problems at all so you could always control outputs from engineer mode or configure a link to a user code or A-B buttons. Quote
Juandaman Posted December 14, 2016 Author Posted December 14, 2016 Hi Brad, thanks for replying. I was hoping to do some interfacing with other things around the house. Spoke to Tech support and they told me it needed the latest firmware upgrade, but ar the time I was at work and not in the house. Will try some time next week and see how it goes. Out of curiosity, what do you need to programme the output as ? Quote

GalaxyGuy Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 You need to change output menu 53.6 (control) for the output that you want to control via the app or touchcenter. Quote
Juandaman Posted December 14, 2016 Author Posted December 14, 2016 Done it, can see it in the app, but what do I program it as ? Only want to use it via the App to turn things on and off..... Quote
GalaxyGuy Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 You don't need to program the output type. Just set the control to toggle or trigger and connect the output to a relay to control a higher voltage/load. If you wanted the light to come on when the alarm triggers, then you could also set the output type to intruder or strobe. Quote
