Monteey Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Yup i do the same if i find my cables buried in the wall, if they are stupid enough not to be able to see a cable hanging down then they deserve to have to do it again. Excellent stories!! Mark Hawks Ex BT Openreach Field Service Now Self employed telecom and data engineer www.mphtelecom.co.uk Also back doing sub contract work in the security industry. breff Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Ditto on the holes in plasterboard stories. If its the 1st time it happens I try to minimize damage, but after about the 3rd time on the same site the hammer comes out to teach them a lesson. Usually does the trick. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Guest Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 ... He started to create cannonball sized holes in the ceilings of every room in the house untill he found all the wires. Then he charged the plasterering firm for the extra work he had to carry out. The building company made them replaster all the ceilings and wouldnt pay them because it was their fault. Lets just say we never found a single wire up in the ceiling again after that.... 31008[/snapback] EXCELLENT!!!
