1950Norman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Not sure, how would you do that? Quote
james.wilson Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 iirc only zone 1 can be entry exit on the g3. Then gen4 is programmable. But if the g3 can do it you will need to program circuit 2 an e/e Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

Danfs Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm not that failure with the g3. I can't remember if it can be done through program 1. Possibly zone function Typo familiar not failure Quote
james.wilson Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Just had a look at the manual you can program circuit 2 to be an entry exit Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
1950Norman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 (edited) Before I had the problems with the alarm the entry timer to the garage was ok at 20 secs. How do you program zone 2 as entry and exit. Could not see anything in my manual that told you how to do it. James if it tells you in your manual could you please do me an idiots guide. james.wilson Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 But you have defaulted in since and default is circuit 2 walk through Have a look at page 21 where it talks about programs 1,2 and 3 Id assume your using program 1 as full set and program 2 as part set Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
1950Norman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Yes I'm using program 1. My manual does not have any page numbers, but looking at it do you mean the page with how to enter the exit and entry timers? Which I've already tried. Quote
1950Norman Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 In the manual it says about program 1 in the factory set conditions, program 1, zone 1- timed, zone 2- time inhibited. Quote
Rulland Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 If zone two is progged as time inhibited, and zone two is the garage door, then as soon as you open the garage door the alarm will go off, because it hasn't seen zone one open first. Any zones that are entry/exit will need to be progged as such, any zones that you need to walk past to get to the keypad, coming in either entry/exit door, will need to be progged as time inhibited. You can set the attributes for the doors to be 'final set' IE the system will set almost immediately after the door has been shut, instead of waiting for a timer. Quote
