Looking for a second opinion on what grade an intruder system should be.. Here's the scenario...

- 300m x 150m warehouse

- Storing medium value vehicles

- On-site security (in separate hut so alarm is set night time)

- Typical industrial estate, CCTV is present on site & around the estate

- Fencing & typical physical features are present

My gut says grade 3 but not sure on the "risk" with onsite security being present? Would this kind of presence bring a system down a grade? I'm thinking what if the security were removed? Or would that be on the installation company to reassess the risk?

The risk should be ABC A area. B Building, C Content. The area and building in this case lower the grade over the value of content, but needs a high grade dualpath monitoring

What do you mean how much, the cost is the cost.

Saying that every component on our grade 2 systems are grade 3 and we would only fit dual path grade 4 signalling on the above with sia signaling setup. Also antimask would be enabled on all DT's

My preference would be grade 3 with the grade 4 monitoring. The security guard could be classed as irrelevant for the alarm as he would just be a user of the system, but would consider external monitoring of a panic button incase of some kind of raid for the guard to use to summon help.

how much value could be stolen by inside job, vs how much stolen by 3 blokes in a transit in 10 mins. Then factor in how easy to shift said goods.

Wont get many medium value vehicles, in a transit lol
