sixwheeledbeast
Really? I was wondering why it wasn't like that in the first place.... 3 hours ago, MrHappy said: Just ensure the alarm is audible from outside the final door normally achieved by using =<£5 extension speaker. andyb2000
It's quite an old/complex setup for this one so the control box and rkp aren't where they need to be (extensions built, etc) so they're nowhere near the actual exterior anymore, relocating wasn't an option but adding a speaker to the right location should do the job nicely. Thanks again for everyones input, appreciate all the angles to look at it from
MrHappy
personally I'd ditch the old controls & put a hybrid euro in. press II & see status of the alarm. If they can afford extensions they can afford some proper controls Quote Mr Veritas God

norman
Wow! Major consideration obv's... Does the dog repellent work? Really depends on the dog, in our testing, we found some dogs would chew the packaging regardless of what deterrents we used. The bacon is vacuum packed, then packed in an envelope and then an outer envelope keeping delicious aromas to a minimum, with the deterrent then added we believe all reasonable steps have been taken to prevent the bacon being eaten prior to reaching the pan. We would love it to be fool proof, but unfortunately we can't guarantee that your dog will not chew your tasty post. Any selfish bastard that leaves their dog alone all day doesn't deserve bacon. datadiffusion
Depends, that's why we've got two, plus it's actually very rare we are both out all day. I would never leave a dog literally on it's own. In our old house they could even go outside through a dog flap, I'm working on that at the moment as the new place is a bit different. Hard to say if the packaging works as we've got one of those stupid Victorian letterboxes, so the postman just leaves everything in the porch.
