Hello,

Just  after some advice about changing an old bell box for a Pyromix DeltaBELL plus. The panel is a Optima XM panel (quite old)

I am unsure of how many cores are going to the old bell as I am doing the job for a friend. I am an industrial electrician by trade so I have limited knowledge of alarms!

I have no manual for the new bell box but I am told there's 7 terminals. I'm due to go there this weekend so thought I'd do some homework before attempting it. Anyone on here have a diagram for this bell or any advice? I have the manual for the panel but not the new box.

Thank You!

Sorry we can't share manuals here.

I imagine it will be 5 wires, the other terminals may be for extra features.

Either way if 8 core, wire them all up and you can do whatever testing at the controls without being up and down the ladders.

If you don't have enough cores for strobe and bell , use bell output only and loop over to the strobe input at bell so both activate on alarm

If you haven't bought it yet i would get the x not the plus.

Or offer it as an upgrade next time as module is straight swap and buy the lamp
