Guest Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 When you think about it we are at risk as installers in many, many ways - makes ya think
bellman Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 You guys are making me feel better already - thx! 29475 Could sit all night and tell install tales, as could most, if not all members of the forum. I've been quite lucky with pipes though, only had 2 nasty and 1 minor problems with them in all my time. animals seem to cause most of my problems. Once got pinned to the wall by the biggest great dane i've ever seen. I thought my time had come. also had a subs yorkie terrier bite the end of my boot and loose a tooth on the steel cap. Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.
j.paul Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 This customers d o g had been pinching my tools all day Never had tools pinched, but did have poodle cook his leg and fill my tool box full of (you guess it) p**s There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
bellman Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 People dont expect there to be so much work involved, so it can be a bit embarrasing moving a bed accross a room to find the customers toy collection I couldnt look her straight in the face again, 29485 Had simlar rich, Once found a rubber suit and a large whip when moving a bed for a pa cable. subs husband was poorly and was having difficulty speaking and moving, she explained that he'd recently had a stroke. I nearly choked on my coffee when she said that as several nasty visions swept through my head Regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer.

Smart Electrics Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 The SDS can be a bit dangerous - my heart has stopped a couple of times when drilling out and then realising the customers car is parked right underneath LOL BMW M3 From inside house to garage 4 ft drill bit through door and into seat
John Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 All the confessions coming out now lol.... Anyone drilled through a wall and have half of the plaster fall off on the other side and had to do your own DIY repair quick smart? Happened to me about 6 years ago - talk about panick 29422 Working in POSH block of flats, SDS through wall - took out a chunk of plaster about 10 inches square right next to a large door alarm chime. Chime was just the right size to be moved over the hole! customer doesn't even know about it (yet). Fire Member
