Hi,

We maintain a Texecom Premier 88 & we're hoping on remotely supporting the site.

Does the Texecom range have a similar bit of kit to a Galaxy Ethernet Module with the RSS?

Another way of tackling the issue,

Premier Elite, Wintex, WebWay Nano (UDL Only).

Although Com-IP is a great product, The downside is that its reliant on local internet connection at the premises.

A Webway Nano unit will cost you about the same as a COM-IP, But requires no local internet connection or networking skills

With Com-IP, If your customer doesn't pay their broadband bill and gets cut off, or a phone line damage occurs, You wont access the panel

As WebWay uses 3G/GPRS for the remote connection to the panel, It requires no third party phone line or internet provider, You will always access the panel

Annual renewals for using WebWay UDL service are literally pennies per year, Built into your service plan makes it a no brainer.

Yep I agree with the above. I used Nano Udl only on a system right at the edge of where we would normally cover, worked great.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

another vote for webway. i usually fit go, not nano, but i think the remote access is the same between them. wintex software is designed to connect directly to the webway program for access

Its a lovely bit of kit webway& texe combo.

I actually want us to ditch G2 galaxy for a poly prem as it UDL's MUCH better than 2 series galaxy

id have one over any 2 Series galaxy any day. Do you not find UDL a bit flaky also??

Much better suited over a GD gal in a domestic imo. Though they cant match a Gal for robustness

many of you speak so highly of tex

Most speak highly of what they install

Like Hkc, we do , although it's a great system it needs a few changes to make it really compete against the dimension
