Hmm, a second, longer spring would have been nice, you never know what's been fitted esp. if someone else is doing the 1st fix.

 

Also I assume that tamper is just glued on? And as usual no 3rd terminal for a resistor :(

cheers for the pics JW.

Tamper button looks secured by metal tangs to me, DD.

I think I would use them in a new build/rewire scenario, probably stick to CQR Alto for other stuff instead of the surface box option.

Yep you're right. JW in your opinion would the spring be ok for a back box up to 45mm box plus extra skim depth?
