Buzzy
Evening Guys - long time listener first time caller here, I work with 24v & never touch 12v so please take it is easy with me. I am installing a Galaxy Flex 20 with Internet module in my house & am wondering if the Activ8 PIR With Colour Camera can transmit live video images to the Honeywell GX RC app via the internet card? If not, what benefits does the Activ8 PIR with colour camera provide? ...I am not linking to an ARC. Many Thanks.

What are the cable/voltage requirements for this device?
james.wilson
12v and alarm cable for the detector, coax if long for the camera. Its main use is for detector activated cctv or covert use Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. sixwheeledbeast
7.8 - 16Vdc drawing 135mA Coax or UTP and baluns I would assume for video. Alarm cable for the alarm, and UTP for audio. Looks like it's for covert CCTV use. Are you sure this is what you need?

Honeyhell describes this PIR as having the ability for the ARC to capture live feed/stills following an activation. As I wont be linked to an ARC I had hoped the live feed/stills may be able to be transmitted to the app. Are you aware of any Galaxy Flex compatible device capable of relaying a live feed/stills to the app? GalaxyGuy
The Flex supports a PIR sensor with integrated camera for intruder verification images. The images can only be pulled by the ARC and the app doesn't receive them.

GalaxyGuy
No. With each sensor costing £130, it's not something I've looked at.
