well id be looking to prove the panel, looping out the circuits. I suppose you could have a voltage on a leg. You didn't connect the battery the wrong way round did you?

Nope, double checked and battery went in the same connections as the old one.

Try linking the tamper circuit , close everything up and see if it starts to arm

How do i go about linking the tamper circuit? When i remove the unit cover, the tamper internal alarm does sound and i have to punch in the code to stop it.

Put a loop on global tamper , and as jw said loop out every circuit to see if anything changes , then add each zone circuit back one at a time

I would hazard the tamper is fine if the panel is not in alarm all the time?? As before, with a tamper, you wouldn't even be able to exit eng...

It won't hurt to do it though.

Going back to basics, what happens when you do a walk test, OP? (Eng Command 97)

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
