No, I certainly wouldn't provide codes for a system that had a warranty. You could have them service it and reset the code when the warranty expires. Quote
norman Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 If you have the code some may not warrant it. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
skronk Posted June 21, 2017 Author Posted June 21, 2017 Maybe worded wrong ! Can I get the codes once the years warranty is up ? Playtime ! Quote
james.wilson Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Any decent installer would not allow engineer access etc during warranty or service period imho. There would be a charge to call out and reset the installer code at the end of that period etc Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

If someone installs a system they will provide you with a user code but keep the engineers code so only the installer can make changes. Quote

Professional install. Can I get this mystical code once my 1 year warranty is up ? 2. Should this be DIY install, is this mystical code inside box, if not where is it ? Obviously only masonic based people make these boxes as everythings a secret !!!! Hard work. Quote

Would you want a security system provider that didn't care about protecting their clients. They will have to attend and change it and this would be a chargable call. 2. If diy then then default codes will be supplied Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
