Kelandian Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Hoping someone can help. I have spent all week installing six Oyn-x cameras and the box to our house. We now want to be able to view this on our mobile phone but have since found out the App doesn't appear to be available in the U.K App Store. Am I searching for the wrong thing or is there an independent app that would be better? Thanks Edited June 24, 2017 by Kelandian Quote
datadiffusion Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Appear to be part of Q-Vis / Adata who very much have a UK presence https://oyn-x.com/knowledge-base/support-section-software I suspect you are just looking for the wrong thing?? Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Kelandian Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Hi, thanks for looking. When I QR scan to bring up the App an error message appears to say not available in the UK. Would an independent app work? Quote
datadiffusion Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) What is the name of the App it directs you to that you 'can't have'? Is it any of these? https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Adata Ltd&hl=en Edited June 24, 2017 by datadiffusion Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Kelandian Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Hi, the app for this system is called Nitro. Thanks Quote
datadiffusion Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Is the DVR also called Nitro? Interesting. Here is the iOs version, which references the .co.uk website for firmware updates, so assume not an issue to also use in the UK... http://download.cnet.com/Nitro-app/3000-2064_4-77132337.html However, the android store shows nothing called Nitro, but there is a 'QV Pro' by QVIS (i.e. same co. as Adata / Oyn-x), which states it works with Nitro DVRs, amongst others. Kelandian Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Thanks, just downloading from the App Store to try. Quote

Kelandian Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Thanks for all your help, the QV pro app doesn't recognise our cameras. Sixwheeledbeast - we have tried to QR scan the box on the link you sent but the Nitro App isn't available in the UK. Quote
datadiffusion Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Oh well, at least they have a strong UK presence. I would phone them Monday, as that can't be right. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
