With the zone splits, wasn't there a 'B' terminal in Abacus brand PIRs for a 2nd circuit (but shared tamper??), or couldn't you use a splitter box? And wasn't the split thing just glorified EOL using unpublished values?

Just wondering if that, as well as a ropey contact/connection could be an issue...

You had to use a zone splitter to split zones, its programmed as a final exit on part set, so when part set it should start up the entry timer before going into alarm, if you part set the alarm.

Have a couple of things to look at in the short term then.

In the long term think it's Abacus RIP time and will replace with a modern unit but will start anew topic on that.

Thanks for your replies.
