Hoping someone here can help me!

Roughly 12 months ago I had our existing alarm replaced with the EURO 46, all has been fine until last week.

The white metal box (control panel?) started making a low buzzing noise, but all continued to function ok.

Couple of days ago the keypad started warning that the battery in the control panel wasn't charging, then battery critical, now its saying low volts, at this point the buzzing has stopped!

I'm struggling to find someone to come take a look.

Any ideas?

50 quid says either existing battery re-used, new from Maplins, or just a 2nd hand battery which has failed nearly taking PSU with it.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Possibly on the hardware, the install was a cash job, the relationship has since soured.

You think a straight replacement battery will solve the problems?  Surly I can do this myself?

I assume 7ah, buy a quality make like Genesis or Yuasa, avoid Chinese no-name or 'Lucas' ones from eBay.
