Its not a question of budget, these detectors are expensive compared to standard pir's. I prefer to use motion detectors for aesthetics, who wants wires on every window and door? you could use wireless siesmics I suppose. Quote

Also as you know aesthetics can be down to how well it's installed wired shock sensors could be installed more discretely than a PIR. Lot's of variables, hence lots of opinions. Quote

Lol it was in another post about mounting the Pir upside down by the Arab lol But I always use Hkc hybrid wireless on Windows works well , only issue is big sensors , but battery life 2years plus is good Quote
