xpertalarms Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Got a site with an old premier 24, wintex appears to be showing 957v at the expander voltage, going out to it on Monday to figure out why that would be. Alarm cables aren't anywhere near power and the system has been serviced regularly since installed. I've attached some screenshots of wintex showing 14v and then 957v a few minutes later, the panel doesn't even know and just carries on! Guessing this is a bug of some sort, network errors jump around too! Quote
james.wilson Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 id assume its the expander then? Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
xpertalarms Posted July 29, 2017 Author Posted July 29, 2017 I thought so too, but both are doing it at random intervals. At the moment expander 1 is at 14v with 20 network errors and expander 2 is at 957v with no network errors. Could be both, would be strange if it was Quote
james.wilson Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I doubt both Quote securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
sixwheeledbeast Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Yes this is a known issue on older firmware panels that expander voltages are shown inaccurately too high. I have never heard of an issue with network errors, I would check the network errors on the controls are the same as Wintex and if necessary clear down and monitor. Quote
