Busgsxr Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Hello I had scantronic I-on16 wireless alarm installed five year ago. The time and date would tick over very slowly maybe two or three hours in a 24hour period on the I-kp01 keypad. Now it has stopped ticking altogether. Quote
datadiffusion Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 So... what you are saying is that the time / date are now frozen at a certain point and not advancing? Are you able to log in and otherwise use the alarm as normal? Anything odd about your power supply either i.e running off an inverter on a narrowboat or something crazy? Busgsxr Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 Hello. Yes this is exactly what's happening. The alarm is installed in a house with normal electrical supply. The alarm is working perfectly in all other ways. The time would move slowly when it was installed and has now stopped. The installer was not able to find the problem sean Quote
datadiffusion Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Is it still under warranty? If so I suggest installer needs to give you a new main unit?? Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
Busgsxr Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 No out of warranty and the installer has since retired. Any other suggestions other than a new unit Quote
datadiffusion Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Other suggestions, yes - but you'll need the engineer code, or be happy to default the unit.... Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
